>>SOLAR THERMAL SYSTEMS
THE THERMAL SOLAR COLLECTOR
It represents the most common application in order to produce sanitary warm water and/or to heat the buildings. A square meter of solar collector can heat up to 60-70 °C between the 70 and 300 liters of water in a day in function of the efficiency, than varied with the latitude, the climatic conditions and the types of collector.
The heart of a solar collector is the absorber, which is usually composed of several narrow metal strips. The carrier fluid for heat transfer flows through a heat-carrying pipe, which is connected to the absorber strip. In plate-type absorbers, two sheets are sandwiched together allowing the medium to flow between the two sheets. Absorbers are typically made of copper or aluminum.

Solar thermal systems also differ by the type of collector used to gather and store the sun's energy.

The Solar Collectors are connected in series or in parallel. They constitute a reliable and competitive technology on the market and come widely uses you for the following scopes:
- heating of the sanitary water to domestic, hotel use and hospital worker;
- heating of the water of the showers (bathing establishments, you camp, etc.);
- heating of atmospheres (optimal is the coupling of a thermal solar system with a system of heating to pavement);
- heating of the water for processes to low temperature;
- drying of agricultural and food- products;
